Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! I live far away from some of you (I miss you!) and it can be difficult to stay in touch at times. This blog is my attempt to keep you up-to-date with my life here in Oklahoma.

OK
OK... time to do some blogging... I cannot believe the weekend is just around the corner! Both Malin and Kim stayed home Monday which made the week shorter. It was wonderful to have one more day off. I have not posted anything on my blog since Halloween (sorry) so you may not know what we did for Thanksgiving. Carson, Max and I (no cat this time) left for Kansas the day before Thanksgiving. I was able to drop Abrianna off with Kim at three which was great. The trip took us three hours (it probably would have taken more than three had I been the driver).

Malin helped us with the cats and Skalman. Thank you so much! We were able to stay from Wednesday through Saturday. We had a great time! We saw elk, buffalo and deer! And some snow (although it did not stay for very long). =) We also went to Fort Riley where Curt and Connie lived when Curt first joined the army.

The food was great and Connie had made the most charming little turkeys made out of whoppers (two different sizes), candy corn and oreo cookies. She is very creative! =) I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

The boys and Abrianna are napping right now. We had a fun morning with a lot of baking and cooking going on (play-doh style). Max and Jonathan love that stuff! We bought it the other day at the Exchange at Fort Riley. A very good buy. The kit came with red, blue, green and yellow play-doh and about ten different accessories (in a plastic duffel bag). Very practical! Yesterday the boys asked: Where is the yellow play-doh? We looked and looked until I realized that it must have been mixed into the red, blue and green play-doh! It was bound to happen! =)

Today Carson is at Fort Sill down in Lawton, OK. He lived there as a child (Curt was stationed there for a few years). He went there for training with the new unit he works for now (since about a week ago). It is a brand new combat unit up at the base. They will be out in the field all day and train to call in air strikes etc. I am very proud of Carson for getting this new job. He truly deserves it. =)
