Carson, Max and I went to Hillsboro, Kansas last weekend. His mom and dad, Connie and Curt, live up there. This is a small town about 45 minutes north of Wichita (depending on who drives). We always have a good time there. This time we also visited Lindsborg, a town also known as Little Sweden. We had a wonderful time there. The town celebrated Midsummer (a Swedish holiday) one week early. The festival is only one of the many ways the people of Lindsborg celebrate their Swedish-American heritage. This year they welcomed two very special guests. A Swedish folk dance group from Mora, Sweden and a Norwegian folk dance group from Texas.
